Mineral flats are available in the standard 10-1/2" x 15-1/2" size in depths from 1-1/2" to 5". Our flats are white on both the inside and the outside surfaces. The traditional version of mineral flat is folded and then stapled into position. Our traditional flats are made in America specifically for Tucson Store Fixtures allowing us to maintain a regular supply throughout the year. Each box set is composed of both a top and a bottom box that fit together.
We also offer the Staple Free flats that can be folded into position without staples similar to the way the Specimen boxes work. They are white on both sides. The Staple Free flats are available in both the full size 10-1/2" x 15-1/2" and the half size 10-1/2" x 7-3/4" flat. They are available in 1-1/2" - 3" depths. Each box set is composed of both a top and a bottom box that fit together.
Specimen boxes are smaller foldup chipboard boxes that fit as inserts into the mineral flats to keep the specimens separated. They are also white on both sides.
